Exmoor Property and Exmoor Property Letting offer award winning residential and commercial sales, together with a lettings service to North Devon, Exmoor and west Somerset. We have two offices in North Devon linking Lynton to our South Molton office, Michael Adey Property. The businesses synchronise seamlessly to provide maximum marketing exposure with service and care on a personal level. We are one of the few independent firms left in the area.
Exmoor Property, Lynton, was formed by Greg Lang in 2004, after his own relocation from London to West Exmoor. After 20 years of successful trading Greg and Sharon have retired from April 2025 and the business sold to Michael Adey Property. Lee Trevellick joined the firm as a Partner to run the Lynton office and carries over 20 years experience in agency.
The lettings business has been in operation since 2009 founded by Andrew Green and continues to thrive with a growing portfolio. Michael Adey Property acquired the lettings business in 2024 and is managed by Michael's sister, Katherine Little, with over 15 years experience in the industry.

OUR AREA
Lynton & Lynmouth is a vibrant community in Exmoor and is situated in the centre of the Exmoor coast, in North Devon.
The twin villages, with Lynton at the top of the cliff, and Lynmouth at the bottom, are often described as the jewel in the crown of Exmoor. Visitors return time and again to enjoy the stunning scenery, including the renowned Valley of Rocks with its feral goats and Exmoor ponies. With beautiful moorland and woodland, steep cliffs and stunning sea views, the Exmoor coast is an escape from the hustle and bustle of urban life.
The famous Lynton & Lynmouth Cliff Railway is an immaculate example of Victorian eco-engineering, powered entirely by water. Originally conceived and paid for by Lynton’s most famous benefactor, Sir George Newnes, to save the lives of the donkeys who had to haul everything between the villages, it is one of the few remaining water-powered railways that has not been altered from its original design. It still serves both the local community and the visitors throughout the year.
With its Victorian character and timeless qualities, Lynton & Lynmouth is also a wonderful community in which to live and work. Low crime rates, a primary school, brand new health centre, independent cinema, several churches, sports ground and many clubs all contribute to the community’s independence. Buses run to and from Barnstaple, North Devon’s civic centre, through the day.
